As the Delivery Manager / Expeditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of our products/services to our customers. You will collaborate with various teams within the organization, including logistics, sales, and customer service, to coordinate and optimize the delivery process. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate Delivery Logistics:
- Plan and schedule deliveries to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to optimize routes and ensure efficient delivery processes.
- Monitor delivery schedules and address any issues or delays proactively.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between different departments, including sales, customer service, and logistics, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on delivery statuses and potential issues.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that products/services meet established standards before delivery.
- Address and resolve any quality-related issues that may arise during the delivery process.
- Problem Resolution:
- Identify and address any challenges or obstacles that may impact the delivery timeline.
- Work collaboratively with team members to find creative solutions to delivery-related issues.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure a positive customer experience by meeting delivery commitments and addressing any customer concerns or inquiries related to delivery.
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think on your feet.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for scheduling and tracking deliveries.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
