Description

Griolladh are seeking a skilled and experienced Barista/Cafe Assistant to join their dynamic team. Griolladh has multiple locations across Dublin City Centre. The role may involve working in alternative venues.

As a Barista, the role will include delivering an excellent coffee and food experience to our valued customers. Attention to detail and a friendly demeanour will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere in the cafe.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages and food items following established standards.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering inquires and making recommendations based on customer preferences.
  • Operate espresso machine, grinders and other equipment professionally
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment
  • Handle cash and process transactions accurately
  • Work with team members to ensure efficient operations
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines, including proper food and handling and sanitation procedures.
  • Assist in restocking supplies, monitoring inventory levels and assisting with orders when needed.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a fast paced cafe or coffee shop environment.
  • Solid understanding of coffee beans, brewing methods and latte art.
  • Exceptional customer service with a friendly approach and demeanour.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a high volume environment.
  • Cash Handling experience.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
