Our ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a kitchen and be able to work in a fast paced environment. The focus of the role is to work directly under the sous & head chef to prepare food for cooking.
- Take orders from the sous chef on what food is being worked on for dinner/lunch service.
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients, including peeling, chopping, cutting, and grating ingredients as needed.
- Assist with the cooking of food during service.
- Use various kitchen tools such as knives, peelers, mallets, and ovens/hobs to prepare food.
- Keep the kitchen and work area in a clean and sanitary condition, following food safety guidelines.
- Keep on top of orders and food prep, ensuring seamless meal delivery to the diners.
- Ensure leftover food is properly stored and dated in the correct area.
