Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Coordination:

  • Plan, organise, and execute various events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and private parties.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that each event is tailored to their specifications.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as catering, decor, and audiovisual, to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Oversee event logistics, including setup, coordination of staff, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure events are executed in line with Squerryes Winery’s high standards and guest expectations.

2. Restaurant Service:

  • Assist in restaurant service during peak periods, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of our wine offerings and menu items to provide recommendations and answer guest questions.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests professionally and promptly.

3. Customer Emails and Bookings:

  • Manage incoming customer inquiries via email, phone, or online reservation systems.
  • Assist customers with booking reservations, providing information about the winery’s offerings, and addressing any special requests.
  • Maintain an organised booking system, ensuring accuracy and efficient use of available seating and event spaces.
  • Send confirmation emails and follow-up communications to guests.


  • Previous experience in event coordination and restaurant service is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Knowledge of wine and fine dining etiquette is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
