Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Staff Management:

    • Supervise, train, and mentor restaurant staff, ensuring they are well-versed in company policies and service standards.
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure they are carried out efficiently.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff members to enhance their performance and encourage a positive work environment.
  2. Customer Service:

    • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any inquiries or concerns.

  3. Operations Management:

    • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely food and beverage service.
    • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock rotation to prevent shortages or wastage.
  4. Quality Control:

    • Ensure that food and beverages are prepared and presented according to established standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections of tables, dining areas, and restrooms to maintain cleanliness and aesthetics.
    • Uphold health and safety guidelines and ensure that all staff members adhere to sanitation and hygiene practices.
  5. Financial Accountability:

    • Assist in budget planning and cost control to maximize profitability while maintaining quality.
    • Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping.
    • Report any discrepancies or issues related to cash handling.
  6. Staff Scheduling:

    • Create and manage staff schedules, taking into consideration peak hours and staff availability.
    • Make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal staffing levels.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
